Sunday

god i love sundays. the day i could actually wind up. detach inner-confusion, erase grey clouds, treasure it with none other than, my family. beautiful, sincere, loving people. paid a visit to the on-going 'Scientific Excellence in Islamic Civilisation: Islamic Science Ahead of its Time' exhibition held at KLCC convention centre. was mak's idea, yeah go figure.

nevertheless, i wasnt averse, instead was rather thrilled to know the all-mouths about it. even our beloved prime minister suggested the exhibition to be extended. not many are aware of this i assume, still the crowd hiving the place suggested good support. mainly, it is to educate us on how technology was actually first invented by muslims across the globe. we knew this, infact learnt that westerns stole all the inventions, renamed after themselves, and be proud of it. truth is however, MUSLIMS are the founder. we were weak, understandings among us tangled, therefore we capitulated.

to debate on this matter will take more than a post, and i dont feel like being arrested, if ever the matter appears sensitive. the automatic water pump with six plungers, describe first-handed by Taqiyyuddin is a type of water-works driven by running water, amazed me. a water-wheel turns a camshaft that successively lifts the pistons which suck in an amount of water. two valves per plunger prevent the water from running back. knowledge of this kind of hydraulic device appeared in Italy shortly afterwards. believe me, you will wish for more.

so, let history dumbfound you. cant believe im saying this, but hell yes. as much as i hate history, there's no need for me to be in denial that i do care, and am proud that all at first, were created, brilliantly made by the muslims. oh btw, the admission is free. if it isnt, shame on you who never hesitate splurging on materials, but not education. education indeed is the ultimate possession. go go go. be astonished!

mak yong & family joint us for lunch, at Bukhara. yummylicious! scrumptious food we had. will be spending the weekend over chinese new year in penang with them, also mak lang, mak uda. wan might be joining, not sure about baba's family. anyway, there goes another layer of fat! no argument thou. lazat! earlier, bought 2fiction books. really have to soothe my delicate mind. decided to read on 'Friends, Lovers, Chocolate' by Alexander McCall Smith, later 'Made in Heaven' by Adele Geras. synopsis of both made me put aside the long-waiting 'The Undomestic Goddess' & 'Shopaholic & Sister' by Sophie Kinsella. perhaps the need to read apart chick-lit spiced up the eyes.
